It was a perfectly bright and beautiful mid-summer day when Tim and Gabby said "I do" at Founders Chapel, University of San Diego. Such a gorgeous place to get married... While family and friends waited for them at the University Club atop Symphony Towers to party and dance the night away, we stole a few moments of their time for some amazing portraits around the chapel's gorgeous grounds.
On a beautiful, partly cloudy day in mid April, Nicole and Chris were married at the charming Bernardo Winery. This quaint little winery is the oldest in southern CA dating back to 1889 and has remnants of it's history decorating the property. It was the perfect spot for an intimate, rustic wedding like theirs which was overflowing with the warmth and love of family and friends. The details were sweet with lilac colored flowers in jars and wine bottles, a festive ribbon backdrop and mouth-watering pies. Such a great wedding... And, could I find a more photogenic couple?
Congratulations to Nicole and Chris! Thanks again for letting me be a part of your big day!
Erik and Bernadette's outdoor, winter ceremony took place at the San Diego Swiss Club on an almost rainy day in early January. The entire event couldn't have been more sweet... So much heart and soul was put into every hand made, DIY detail down to the crocheted bouquets, boutonnieres and yarn wrapped table letters. Amazing creativity and a day cram packed with love! Congrats again to the newlyweds! xox
- A huge thanks to Michael Fletcher and his amazing shooting skills on this day!
Years ago, in a Subway sandwich shop, Drina and Matt's eyes met... and history was written. There's more to this completely romantic story of course, but that small moment in time led to my documenting the sweetest, candlelit ceremony on the rooftop of the Westin Gaslamp in downtown San Diego on the eve of New Year's Eve. Earlier in the afternoon, Mother Nature threatened to move the outdoor ceremony inside, but I suppose she changed her mind at the last minute and left us with a moody, shimmering backdrop instead. Congrats again to the newly minted Mr. and Mrs.!!
