Years ago, in a Subway sandwich shop, Drina and Matt's eyes met... and history was written. There's more to this completely romantic story of course, but that small moment in time led to my documenting the sweetest, candlelit ceremony on the rooftop of the Westin Gaslamp in downtown San Diego on the eve of New Year's Eve. Earlier in the afternoon, Mother Nature threatened to move the outdoor ceremony inside, but I suppose she changed her mind at the last minute and left us with a moody, shimmering backdrop instead. Congrats again to the newly minted Mr. and Mrs.!!

You don't see kids birthday parties like this everyday! This one had a 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' theme which was carried out inevery shade of pink with giant feather plumes decorating the tables along with pink party hats, lolly pops and old fashioned party favors. There were bubble magicians, puppet shows, a play area and craft center, a cotton candy cart, face painting, life sized characters for story time and even a real life petting zoo with lambs. And for the sweet tooth, an amazing display of pink-tinted candies and desserts galore! All of this over-the-top cuteness took place at the swanky Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.
